We all agree that a domestic East Coast gas reservation policy and/or export levies are a no-brainer and would help to lower Australian energy costs. That issue is beyond debate.
Our difference of opinion concerns whether a renewable energy future for Australia, without coal or nuclear generation, would reduce energy costs and is rational from a policy perspective.
