• Electricity is being rationed in Kuwait.
• According to the U.S. Department of Energy, its petroleum reserve may be far less than previously thought. Fuel markets are getting tighter, according to the International Energy Agency.
• Pakistan asks for a $10 billion grant to participate in talks with Iran.
• Despite the “ceasefire” arrangement, Israeli soldiers are still conducting airstrikes and incursions in southern Lebanon.
• The Speaker of Parliament claims that the Israeli withdrawal “barely qualifies,” while the PM of Lebanon praises it as a start. In his meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Trump pledges to “assist” Lebanon but makes no specific policy recommendations.
