Biden goes, endorses Harris

The news this morning is that POTUS Joe Biden will serve out his term but will NOT contest the Democratic nomination for the November election.

He has endorsed his deputy, Kamala Harris, who will likely now take the ticket.

Harris’ polling versus Trump is not especially good though being leader can change perceptions. Her running mate will also be important.

Expect an election fought much more on domestic issues now, notably abortion and economic equity.
